As many of you may or may not know, I’ve got quite a lot of free courses and resources scattered all around The Classroom. So, I wanted to take a moment to collate some of them here for you!
These are courses and resources that I’ve created with my own sweat and blood. I can 100% vouch for them! Enjoy! Five Fantastic Fall Freebies, just for you 🙂
This course is entirely FREE. For several years now, I’ve been instructing others on how to better handle their dogs around an agility course. For as long as I’ve been instructing, I’ve been telling students to “watch your dog”. When I first started learning agility myself, I was told to watch my dog. Although I’ve been very good about helping people perfect their technical skills by telling them to adjust how they move their bodies one way or another, or how they time a reinforcement given for a behavior they’re trying to train, until recently, I haven’t done my best to help people learn to better watch their dogs. This free course will help you REALLY learn to watch your dog, with explanations and exercises for you to try. There’s no video to submit, and you can proceed at your own pace. Join the discussion for each unit. And did I mention, it’s completely free? Click the link above to read more, or, sign up below for this free course!
You can also listen to this podcast on the topic of what it means to ‘watch your dog’!
In The Agility Challenge, I talk a LOT about what a fixed mindset is, vs. what a growth mindset is, and why it matters for agility.
Fixed vs. Growth Mindset is something that I work hard on myself. It’s something I’ve come to know a lot about over the course of the past twenty years in this sport. Curious about what YOUR mindset is when it comes to agility? You’ll want to take this quiz and then get the 20+ page eBook I developed as a quick start guide to fixed vs. growth mindset in agility!
This is one of the most popular freebies available! While I don’t have these jumps anymore (they’re now in use at a training facility that was in need of new, safer wing jumps), I had a fantastic time planning and making all of these jumps. Each jump was made to represent a country I’ve been to in my dog agility travels. I’ve also had several people send me photos of the designs they’ve made using my plans!

In this freebie, you’ll find the course maps from the event, as well as my video analysis for each run. Each video includes my thoughts about the course as I watched it being built, and after I walked it, as well as my thoughts on how each run went with Chispa, and how I’d do things differently or better! Each video is 15-20 minutes long, and you can download it to watch later.
Finally – and I hope you never actually NEED this one – my Hillbilly Hydrotheraphy DIY instructions. I built an underwater treadmill when Frodo had a traumatic CCL tear and TPLO back in 2017, and I frequently get asked about this one. Learn how to make an underwater treadmill from two stock tanks and some elbow grease.
Each of these freebies took quite a lot of time to create, so I really hope you’ll find at least one of them useful! Feel free to share with like-minded friends as well, if you’ve found any of this freebie collection valuable.
I hope you’ll enjoy these free resources,
