I understand that Bobbie Lyons, CCFT, MTI, Cert CF is a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer and she designs “strength training” program for healthy dogs. Bobbie does NOT design programs for rehabilitation from previous injury, structural issues or any issues causing abnormalities. Bobbie cannot and will not diagnose or treat injury.
While participating in a strength training program, I understand that if my dog shows signs of weakness, a previous injury resurfaces, or injury occurs, I will stop immediately seek Veterinarian advice. Sometimes there are underlying injuries that are not immediately obvious and it is important to pay close attention to my dog's movement and how my dog responds to exercise.
I understand that strength training for my dog is a trial process where we need to see how my dog responds to the each exercise. All exercise plans could cause injury if not performed slowly, with correct posture and body position. I will not hold Bobbie Lyons, CCFT, MTI, Cert CF responsible if my dog gets hurt while completing the strength training program she designed.
Dog's with pre-existing injury or issues.
I understand that Bobbie cannot diagnose or treat injury and participating in strength exercises could make my dog's undiagnosed or diagnosed soft tissue or other injury worse.
If Bobbie is reviewing video, she will advise on signs of fatigue and signs to stop and when to see your Veterinarian if any abnormalities are noticed. Bobbie will also advise on proper handler position, reward position and will give tips on improving training methods to get the desired position.
I understand that this course is designed to show me proper exercise form and advise me on training methods.
