Fitness On The Flat

SELF GUIDED – Taught By Bobbie Lyons, CCFT, FP-MTI, Cert CF. This class will benefit continuing students as well as new students. The workouts will be applying foundation movements and turning them into exercises (no equipment needed) using thing you may have around the house or encounter on your walks. 1 complete workout each week will be presented.
Duration: 5 weeks

Warm Ups, Cool Downs, Flexibility

SELF GUIDED – Taught By Bobbie Lyons, CCFT, FP-MTI, Cert CF. This class will benefit continuing students as well as new students. This is a 5 week class coming warm up/cool down strategies and active stretching.

Winter Workouts

ENROLL MARCH 17, 2017. Taught By Bobbie Lyons. This class will benefit continuing students as well as new students with some canine fitness background. Beginner to advanced exercises will be presented. 1 complete workout each week will be presented showing the number of reps and sets suggested – turn on the video and follow along with your dog.

Foundation K9 Fitness

SELF GUIDED. SIGN UP ANY TIME. Taught by Bobbie Lyons. This class will drip 7 behaviors every 2 weeks – 4 weeks total for discussion, homework, and video review (additional cost) . In this class you will learn some very basic behaviors needed for K9Fitness exercises. It is important that your dog learns to shift weight and position their body independently before asking for positions on balance equipment.
Duration: 2 weeks

Jumping Power: Strength training to improve jumping skills

Injury Prevention for Psoas and Shoulder Muscles

This 6-week course targets progressive exercises to increase muscular strength and tone in the Iliopsoas and Shoulder Muscle Groups. The Iliopsoas and Shoulder muscle groups are the top injured muscles in performance dog sports today! Reduce the risk of injury, increase balance, core strength, body awareness and over-all performance while increasing stability in the shoulders and lower core muscle groups!
Duration: 6 weeks

 

Walk This Way – Treadmill

This 6-week course will teach you and your dog how to use a DogTread Treadmill for maximum benefits – how to introduce your dog to the treadmill, sustained trot work, lateral movement of the hips and shoulders, independent forelimb and hindlimb movement and progressive weight distribution.
